A Beginning…
There’s something quietly brave about starting before you feel ready.
Not because you know exactly where you’re going, or what this will become, but because something in you says, it’s time to begin anyway.
Adventures In Change begins here — not as a finished product, not as a clearly defined offering, but as a place to write through change as it’s happening. A place to reflect, to notice, and to make meaning in real time. It’s also a learning space — one where I share insights shaped by both lived experience and my work as a clinician, holding personal reflection and professional perspective side by side.
For much of my life, change has been a constant companion. Sometimes welcome, sometimes disruptive, sometimes so profound it reshaped how I understood myself and the world. Through personal experiences and years of clinical work, I’ve learned that growth rarely arrives neatly packaged. More often, it shows up disguised as discomfort, uncertainty, or loss.
This space exists to explore those moments.
It’s a place for reflection, curiosity, and learning — where courage, resilience, and becoming are considered through both a personal and clinical lens, especially when the path forward isn’t clear. It’s a place to sit with the questions instead of rushing toward answers, and to honor the in-between seasons that don’t always get named, but shape us deeply nonetheless.
Right now, Adventures In Change is a writing space. Over time, it will likely grow and evolve. But for now, this feels like the right beginning: words on a page, shared thoughtfully, offered honestly, without certainty about what comes next.
If you’re reading this, perhaps you’re navigating change of your own — or simply pausing long enough to notice how much life asks of us. Either way, I’m glad you’re here.
This is where it starts.
